Using Intention and Vibration for our Highest Good

It can be so hard to step away from trying to figure everything out with the mind. Our lives are important, and the pressure in the knowing that our choices have consequences, can be paralyzing.

This is where we can choose to really come into the power of intention and vibration as a way of relating to the world inside of us and around us.

Intention is the way we relate to the world. It is our inner alignment with our purpose of why we are moving about the world, in the way we move about the world.

The same choice can be made with very different intentions, and hence bring about very different results.

Are we getting mad at someone because our intention is we want them to hurt the way they have hurt us? Or are we getting mad at someone because we want them to have the best life possible, and we know a boundary has to be set so that their life will improve?

This is what it looks like for us to pay attention to our inner world through self-awareness, so that we understand what our intentions are. Having negative intentions isn’t a problem, it is just an opportunity for further understanding and compassion for our own inner craziness.

This love and understanding will do the transforming.

This week, what I have really been coming to understand is how collective the personal is.

And the more we come into the collective vibration of our situation the more benefit we can be to the world.

This is why it is so crucial to really ask ourselves which intentions and vibrations do we want to tune into.

I have a had a little music video binge this week, too, and as a joke I wrote on Facebook that watching Hotline Bling videos was my version of ‘getting my shit done,’ and of course, because this was my intention (even though I was being tongue in cheek about it), it turned out to be true.

This video by Drake has a really lovely, collective vibration. He tapped into something personal that resonates through the melody, words, tone of voice and most of all the vibration he is holding when he wrote the song and when he sings it.

And just look at how many views he has. I can’t even say that number, like almost half  billion or something, and I can’t get the song out of my head, and I like the way I feel in my heart when I hear him sing it.

This is the power of vibration. It has the power to connect to the masses, in big and small ways.

Hello, by Adele, is another great example. This song is so collective. This feeling of having hurt another and trying to make it better. We all know this feeling.

For me another recent example of using vibration for benefit was when I read Micheal A. Singer’s book The Surrender Experiment over the x-mas holidays.

Just holding the book in my hands had my entire body tingling with a unique vibration I hadn’t felt before.

I could feel the truth of his alignment in the writing of the book, and I knew it wasn’t my alignment, but I knew I could learn and grow from being exposed to this vibration.

Getting to know our own vibration and how it works, changes and alters in different situations, is a really essential component to our health and growth.

It is deeply personal and not something easily communicated to others.

I really believe that a lot of the time our intention and vibration is much more important then the choice of action we make.

However, what I am seeing in my energy healing sessions lately, is that so many people have energy on them that isn’t there own. How often do people say, “I just don’t feel like myself.”

This is an important observation, and there may be a good chance that it is hard to feel like ourselves with this foreign energy attached.

The foreign energy isn’t trying to be mean or hurt us, it is just trying to survive like every other living organism on the planet.

Also, we have pain and trauma that is lodged in our systems, that is not in the alignment of intention and vibration that we want, this can be hard to remove alone, even when we have done the emotional work required.

This is what I can help with. Just getting this stuff you don’t need out of your system.

This does not mean my clients  still don’t have their own work to do. The energy healing doesn’t negate the confusion and discomfort that comes with having to  navigate our own human journeys.

But getting ‘cleaned up’ as I call it helps get rid of everything that isn’t aiding the process of coming into true intention and vibration, and makes it easier for you to feel your own truth.

Feeling broken is normal, but we all need to help and support each other if we are going to use this brokenness as a means to heal our lovely selves and incredible planet we inhabit.
