The Mystery of Our Soul Path

We are all here on earth to do something.

The trouble is mostly we have no clue what that something is.

Today I was contemplating my own convoluted soul journey that has brought me to place I am right now. I found myself thinking about how I almost didn’t get here.

Two years ago, in fact, I interviewed for a job working in politics.

At the time, in my mind I saw many different life paths I could take, and working in politics was one of them.

I am passionate about the environment, and social justice, have strong leadership skills and felt my enthusiasm could be put to use in the political arena.

I almost got the job, yet I didn’t.

It was only after I wasn’t a successful job candidate for that position that I started really turning my attention more intentionally to the healing arts.

And in the past year, as I have expanded my mindfulness, meditation and energy healing business, many people have told me how they have felt guided to connect with me.

I have been told by people that they have seen my in dreams, been told by others healers or psychics they would meet me or simply felt we have been connected in a past life.

I simply smile at the love inherent in all of these comments, as they remind me that somehow I need to be here, in this time and place, doing what I am doing.

In turns out that other souls depend on it.

This is just one example of how mysterious the soul journey is. We really don’t know why we need to do what we need to do in this lifetime.

Our present life journey is inter-connected with our past lives, our karma, our intentions (known and unknown) and the soul paths of people we have loved for a long time or even made commitments to (again known or unknown).

Of course, this reality isn’t easy, as are most realities of the human journey.

Knowing if we should turn right or go left or try again or quit all together is not a perfect process. But the point is we need to try.

We need to commit ourselves to the process of being on a soul journey and keep navigating along to the best of our ability.

We will get fed up.

We will definitely get confused along the way.

However, if we set the intention that we are committed to living our soul purpose for our own benefit, and the benefit of all sentient beings, then it will be pretty hard to ever go wrong.

Need some help along the way? Just get in touch.
